Is Science Objective?

 Dr. Yuri T. Yamamoto

Board Room, Talley Student Center (4th floor)

Dr. Yamamoto is a plant molecular biologist who attended the National Endowment for the Humanities Science and Values Institute at the University of Pittsburgh this summer.  While investigating philosophical discussions on scientific practices, she had ample opportunities to reflect upon her own research practices and future directions.  Dr. Yamamoto will present her thoughts on scientific objectivity and lead a discussion.
