Data Analytics Using Advanced Meeting Data
Building on our previous successes with the NCSU Smart Grid project, we will conduct a comprehensive survey of the usage of advanced data analytics by various utilities.
Utilities now have access to an abundance of data due to new technologies such as advanced metering infrastructure (AMI). However, they are doing very little with this data. To address this, NC State will collaborate with sponsor ElectriCities to investigate and develop applications for data analytics for utility operations and customer programs.
