Dual-BioCapacitors: Harvesting Energy from Sweat for Biochemical Monitoring of Human Activity and Stress

This platform provides a new health-care solution for human-computer interaction by measuring and analyzing physiological signals from sweat. We also developed a prototype system for validating the platform at NC State University (NCSU).

We have developed a self-powered multimodal sensor platform which is powered by bioelectrochemical energy harvested from sweat. It offers a novel health-care solution for human-computer interaction by measuring and analyzing physiological signals from sweat. We constructed a prototype system at NC State to prove the functionality of the platform.
