Advancement in the ability to detect small changes in electrical charge induced in semiconductor materials as the result of motion through a magnetic field is necessary to improve the capabilities of a GPS denied navigation system. This proposal will investigate and compare the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of sensor technologies with the goal of refining the sensor requirements that will reduce system size weight and cost while enabling increased performance.
