NC State Undergraduates,



I am pleased to inform you that the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is requesting applications for its 2006-2007 Study Abroad grant program.  Both members of Phi Kappa Phi, as well as non-members are eligible to apply. Phi Kappa Phi is a national honor society established in 1897 to recognize and promote academic excellence in all disciplines of higher education. Phi Kappa Phi is the oldest, largest, and most selective of all such honor societies. The NC State chapter was established in 1923.



Thirty-eight, $1000 grants are available for 2006-07. Eligible undergraduates are those who have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. By February 15, 2006, applicants must have 1) earned at least 56 semester hours, but no more than 90 semester hours of academic credit, and 2) must be accepted into an accredited study abroad program. Applications should be submitted directly by the student to Phi Kappa Phi headquarters and must ARRIVE by February 15, 2006.
