The ECE-GSA held its 4th annual Fall Graduate Student Seminar on August 29th. This event featured 24 powerpoint presentations and 5 technical poster presentations. Kevin Bogacki won the award for overall best presentation entitled "10-Gb/s RZ-DPSK Optical Communication Link". The best paper in each of the two presentation rooms was awarded to Vinit Singh, "Electromagnetic and Thermal Effects of a Retinal Prosthesis System" and Le Xu, "On the Investigation of Artificial Immune Systems on Imbalanced Data Classification for Power Distribution". The poster award went to Enzhuo Quan for her poster on "Resolution Effects in a Dense Linear Source Array X-ray Micro-tomograph". In addition to the presenters, the event was attended by more than 150 faculty and students.
