On Tuesday, June 27, 2006, Louis Martin-Vega was named the new dean of the College of Engineering. Martin-Vega, is the former dean of the University of South Florida’s College of Engineering. NC State University’s College of Enigeering has more than 5,000 undergraduates and 1,600 graduate students, NCSU’s College of Engineering is the university’s largest college. It ranks third among all U.S. engineering colleges in total degrees awarded.
