FFATA: QLCI-CI: NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institute for Robust Quantum Simulation
Through its activities, the
Institute will provide a unique opportunity to amplify and integrate
the research efforts of professors and students in NC State University.
The Institute for Robust Quantum Simulation seeks to gain insight into complex quantum systems and exploit their rich behavior. Combining expertise from researchers in computer science, engineering, and physics, the team will focus on robustly simulating quantum systems of practical interest and verifying their correctness. Through its activities, the Institute will amplify and integrate the research efforts of NC State professors and students.

More Details
The Institute for Robust Quantum Simulation will focus on using
quantum simulation to gain insight intoâ€â€and thereby exploitâ€â€the rich
behavior of complex quantum systems. Combining expertise from
researchers in computer science, engineering, and physics, our team
will address the challenge of robustly simulating classically
intractable quantum systems of practical interest, and verifying the
correctness of the simulation result.
