Ambulatory ISF monitoring with zero-power porous microneedle patches
DermiSense is developing a flexible, bio-inert microneedle patch to access the dermal interstitium painlessly and without requiring power. This patch will enable the wicking and extraction of interstitial fluid (ISF) from the skin for the collection and detection of biomarkers. To accomplish this, DermiSense is working in collaboration with NC State.
