If you’re interested in a truly local weather report, check out the real-time data available from a new weather station installed atop Engineering Building 2. NC State’s WeatherSTEM provides up-to-the-minute readings on temperature, wind, humidity, ozone, ultraviolet radiation, barometric pressure and other key metrics.

It even has its own Twitter feed that offers a daily forecast along with photos of the sky over Centennial Campus.

Incoming first-year Alex Collazo Gonzalez has never lived outside of Puerto Rico, but his acceptance to NC State University’s College of Engineering is about to change everything. Planning to double major in electrical and computer engineering, Collazo Gonzalez is excited for new opportunities and experiences in North Carolina. “I just couldn’t miss out on this opportunity,” he said.

As a visiting researcher in JPL’s Radar Concepts and Formulation Group, Selleseth explored cutting-edge projects, shaping his career aspirations with invaluable hands-on experience.
