Empowering Wireless Networks with Collective Wisdom
An open-source platform will be developed to facilitate the research and foster collaborations with other research groups, including NC State.
This proposal seeks to bring modern advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning to the development of wireless networks. To this end, three research thrusts are outlined: communication-efficient federated learning with heterogenous data, privacy concerns and robustness, and generalization and tradeoffs in wireless networks. This proposal will be evaluated using theoretical analysis, numerical verification, and simulation on various datasets. An open-source platform will also be developed to aid research and facilitate collaboration with other groups, such as NC State.
