Si2 Standards Development
This project is a collaboration between NC State University (NCSU), Si2, and industry.
This project is a collaboration between NC State, the Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2), and industry. It is a two-year effort to develop standards for Reliability Simulation with the Universal Power Model (UPM) and Compact Modeling Coalition (CMC) Open Model Interface (OMI). Additionally, it will create parallel computing methods for integrated circuit design databases and standards for using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
Sponsor
Silicon Integration Initiative, Inc (Si2)
The grant—running from January 1, 2022 to August 15, 2023—is for a total of $53,495.

More Details
This is a 2-year effort to develop standards in collaboration with the Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2), including the Universal Power Model (UPM) and Compact Modeling Coalition (CMC) Open Model Interface (OMI) for Reliability Simulation. In addition, this effort will develop parallel computing methods for integrated circuit design databases and standards for artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
