Xu She

Xu She is a Senior Director of Engineering at Lunar Energy. He is a widely recognized industry leader in power electronics and has made significant contributions to pioneering technologies and products in the renewable energy and energy storage sectors. He has published over 75 papers and holds more than 40 patents. In recognition of his technical contributions, he has received numerous prestigious awards, including the 2017 IEEE Industry Applications Society Andrew W. Smith Outstanding Young Member Achievement Award, the 2021 IEEE Region 1 Industry Technological Innovation Award, and the 2022 IEEE Rudolf Chope Research & Development Award. He is the industry committee chair and distinguished lecturer of the IEEE Power Electronics Society.

Dr. Xu actively supports and advocates for the FREEDM Systems Center. His influence has inspired his wife and cousin to become FREEDM alumni, and he has also hired several NCSU alumni to his teams.
