Body charger

Who needs batteries when you?re wearing a T-shirt? A team of NC State researchers have designed a skin patch that turns body heat into electricity to power wearable devices. By using the difference in temperature between your body and the surrounding air, the device can generate 20 microwatts of electricity per square centimetre of skin.
