Jo Klein (any pronouns) is a Data & Visualization Librarian at the NC State University Libraries. Jo and their colleagues in the Data & Visualization Services (DVS) Department offer instruction and consulting on data topics such as analysis, collection/management, visualization, GIS and geospatial analysis, and more. Jo started at NCSU in July 2022, and previously was the GIS & Data Visualization Librarian at UNC Greensboro. Prior to earning their Master of Library and Information Science, Jo contributed lab analysis and GIS skills to U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) research on green spaces and their impact on human health. You can usually find them crafting things or exploring open-world video games.
