ECE Graduates Four Navy Ensigns
Four students in the electrical engineering program received commissions in the U.S. Navy at a ceremony Wednesday, December 18, in the Grand Ballroom of the Talley Student Center.
The keynote address was delivered by Major General William E. Ingram, Jr. of the North Carolina National Guard.
Oaths of office were administered by Lt. Col. Michael Wawrzyniak, professor of military science, NC State University; Col. Joseph Fitzpatrick, professor of aerospace studies, NC State University; and Capt. Dennis Haines, professor of naval science, Duke University. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Chancellor Marye Anne Fox.
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is proud to offer its congratulations to these young men as they begin service to our country:
