ECE Fall 2004 Graduation Ceremony

Dec 1, 2004

The department will have a ceremony in honor of all our ECE graduates.  The focus of the ceremony will be the individual acknowledgment on stage of each B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. graduate. The department ceremony will begin at 3:00 P.M. on December 15 in Area 1 of the McKimmon Center, followed at about 4:00 P.M. by a reception in Area 2.  (The university exercises are in the morning at the RBC Center.)

In order to make sure that there is sufficient seating for all graduates and guests, we will be issuing tickets for the ceremony. Each graduating student may pick up a maximum of five tickets in DAN 232 beginning next Monday, November 22. Undergraduate students should go to the undergraduate office and graduate students to the graduate office. The staff member issuing the tickets to you will ask to see your student I.D. and have you sign for them. You must pick up your tickets by Friday, December 10.

A waitlist will be kept in DAN 232 and will govern the order of distribution of any tickets remaining after December 10. All students requesting additional tickets will be given one additional ticket in the order recorded on the waitlist. Additional tickets will be distributed as long as tickets are available. You must check after 8:00 A.M. on Monday, December 13 if any extra tickets are available for you and pick them up in DAN 232 before noon on Tuesday, December 14.

The graduates should assemble with their caps and gowns in Area 2 of the McKimmon Center, where directions and guidance will be given for lining up.Please arrive in Area 2 of the McKimmon Center by 2:15 P.M. It takes a great deal of time to organize the lines and check names. When you arrive, your guests should go directly to Area 1 and take their seats.

If you have any questions, please contact the undergraduate office at 515-5086 (rsgreen@ncsu.edu) and the graduate office at 515-5091 (ece_grad_office@ncsu.edu).
