Chow Wins IEEE Educator Award

Dr. Mo-Yuen Chow has been selected to receive the Joseph M. Biedenbach Outstanding Engineering Educator Award in Region 3 for 2004. IEEE Region 3 encompasses the southeastern United States and includes the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, areas of Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and the country of Jamaica.



The IEEE will recognize Dr. Chow and present the award at a banquet as part of the 2005 SoutheastCon meeting in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday, April 9, 2005. Dr. Chow began his career at NC State in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1987 and achieved tenure as a full professor in 1999.
