Aatman Patel ‘25, an MS Computer Engineering student at NC State, is currently embarking on a transformative journey through his co-op internship at BMW North America in Mountain View, California. His work with the Car Connectivity DLI team focuses on pioneering wireless communication for in-car operations, highlighting the advanced stage of this technology.

“This summer at BMW, I have worked with the Car Connectivity DLI team,” said Patel. “Our primary focus is wireless communication for in-car operations highlighting its advanced stage. The standout feature of this project is its ability to operate at very low frequencies while ensuring minimal electromagnetic interference. Additionally, it boasts faster data rates, making it a significant innovation for in-car connectivity solutions. This experience has allowed me to delve into cutting-edge technology and contribute to advancements in automotive communications.”
